"Obama's TRUE positions! Revealed!"
Ok, even I like the guy. He IS charasmatic. But, he's got THESE rotten positions! I know! He's from my city!
Obama opposed allowing home owners to use handguns to defend themselves against intruders IN THEIR OWN HOMES.
That was a reaction to a Wilmette, Illinois man who used his handgun to shoot an intruder, when the burglar returned to the man's home for a SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW.
The burglar had stolen the man's BMW X5, and house keys the previous day, during his FIRST break-in.
The home owner's wife & kids hid in the master bedroom while the 55 year-old father & husband defended his home, his family, and his property, shooting the man just inside the residence.
The home owner was charged with "posession of an unregistered handgun," by Wilmette police when they arrived to clean-up the mess.
Illinois Republicans and conservative down-state Democrats framed the issue as a fundamental question of whether law-abiding home owners have constitutionally-protected rights, not only to keep handguns in their own homes, but to protect themselves, their families, & their property from repeated home invasions, when the police cannot.
And, Obama also supported a ban on hunting rifles, calling them "semi-automatic assault weapons." Again, Illinois Republicans and rural down-state Democrats countered that a man from inside the City of Chicago had no right in trying to deny Illinois' hunters the right to own hunting rifles.
Hunters also objected to his attempts to interfere with the annual hunting season's function of thinning over-populated deer herds to prevent winter starvations in the herds.
Hunting seasons result in the deer that live, being much more healthy. Every fall, hunting seasons accross the United States are used to thin deer herds by 50%, with deer herds reproducing to full strength numbers, by the following fall.
And, Obama voted to repeal the Illinois state death penalty for murderers. Even gang members who murder to help their gangs.
And, Obama sponsored a bill to expunge criminals' records & to give taxpayer-funded grants to criminals in 2002.
As if that's not enough, Obama's ignorance of economics & of the benefits to ALL of the free enterprise system showed itself when Obama voted to raise 300 taxes & fees on Illinois BIDNESSES in 2004.
Obama also voted to raise a statewide 5% gasoline state sales tax in 2000.
And Obama Voted against an income tax credit for parents who send their kids to private schools, religious schools, and/or who home-school their kids. (1999)
Obama supported using Illinois taxpayer funds to study ways to create a state taxpayer-funded "universal health care system," not unlike "HillaryCare," in 2004.
Pro-life advocates howled when Obama voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive their abortions. He had a 100% rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council for that vote, and for his support of taxpayer-funded abortions.
Obama voted to use Illinois taxpayer funds to conduct PRIVATE labratory research that destroys embryonic stem cells in 2004.
Well, that's a lot to chew on, huh?

We survived Nixon, Johnson, Wilson Bush & FDR. We can suvive Obama. There are a few of us, Scott, that will carry the Torch, and do great things. The Strike is not coming for a while, and the looters haven't even begun to get noticed.
So...bring it on. Bring on the political douchebags. We will not be defeated by them.

As I tell my Democrate friends, if I wanted live in Europe I'd actually MOVE TO FRICKIN' EUROPE. There's no doubt the Dems have it completely bass-ackwards about the role of government.
As a bid-ness owner myself, I don't look forward to the next few years of really fighting against the man. It sure ain't gonna be no picnic!
And watching John McCain's performance at last night's debate, sure he's a whole lot better than anything the Dem's might throw up there, but with his surly, bitter, 'I'm a patriot so how dare you question the liberal positions I've taken in the past' attitude, either Hillary OR Obama would mop the floor with him. It'll be a Bob Dole fiasco all over again.
As much as I think we need Romney, not just for his business savvy, but also his demeanor going head to head with his opponents, I think the GOP is too blinded to see what's going on.
Oh well. At least I know I'll still thrive because even though it will be some tough sledding, most of my competition has NO CLUE how to market their bid-ness. I'm sure you and your mortgage folks feel the same.

Chestin...with all due respect, Europe didn't become Europe over night. It is a slippery slope of becoming accustomed to the thumb of big brother. With each small liberty lost, collectively as a society, we become numb to this control (death by a thousand cuts of income tax, tolls, property tax, sales tax, FOID card, etc). We are already on our way given the fact that Clinton and Obama with their ultra liberal positions are even being considered.
The democrats (future rulers of the European States of America) rely on the masses of takers for their support and power. The earners must stay vigilant and involved to try and slow the continued slide of government control and interference and taking for the unmotivated for self improvement.
Bottom line, in my opinion, is that this is a multi-year fight and begins with a change in the educational system that is controlled lock, stock 'n barrel by the liberals. The amount of liberal propaganda force fed our children in the education system is despicable. Parents and all adults must play a crucial, tempering role in the political realities being taught to our children and young adults.

Mr. Tucker thanks for answering some of the questions I had about Sen. Obama in such a quick manner I will further investigate. Now I have one more very important question to ask of you for people like me. I am a former lo who is about to get back in the business by April 1st at the latest and I don't have a whole lot of time to mess around. I've seen you and a few others in mortgage or lending magazines and when I google you or search the bbb I haven't found anything that would make you seem like a scam artist and that's good but you do have a few other so called Mortgage Guru's who say why pay all that money for systems that don't work which will always cause some doubt but push any detractors aside and I'm asking do you not think that for struggling lo's or new lo's to the business that $5,000 + $2,000 monthy dues is somewhat high. I do believe that you must invest in yourself but your average lo doesn't have that kind of jac$ laying around.

Jim: You're right, we've got to fight for a GOP president, as it's our only hope to get school vouchers, especially for those who can't afford the alternatives to public schools without vouchers. That's the only way we can save our kids from the commie indoctrination that the teachers' unions put on our kids!
